Controller and contact

MemberData.eu is operated by Activout AB (corporate identity number 559071-2229), Serpentinvägen 37, 372 31 Ronneby, Sweden, which is the controller of your personal data. Contact us at hello@activout.se if you have questions or want to exercise your rights.

Launch notifications

If you sign up on this page to be notified at launch, we process your email address only to contact you about the MemberData.eu launch. The basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by emailing hello@activout.se. We keep the address until we have announced the launch or you withdraw your consent, whichever comes first.

The form sends your address through our contact service, hosted on bunny.net (BunnyWay d.o.o., Slovenia), and Mailjet (Sinch Mailjet SAS, France), which delivers it to our mailbox. Our mailbox is hosted by Google Workspace (Google Cloud EMEA Ltd, Ireland). Google may process data outside the EU/EEA, protected by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

What we collect and how we use it

When you connect LinkedIn, we retrieve data with your authorisation through LinkedIn's Member Data Portability API (3rd Party). Depending on what you choose to import, this may include your profile, connections, messages and activity. This data may also contain personal data about other people. LinkedIn provides this API in response to the EU Digital Markets Act (DMA), and only to members in the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland, based on the location in their LinkedIn profile.

We store a separate copy for your account and make it available through MCP tools to the clients you connect. The tools read your synchronised copy and never expose your LinkedIn access token. We also process account details, access tokens and technical logs for sign-in, synchronisation, support and security.

Legal basis

We process account details to perform our contract with you. Importing and storing your LinkedIn data is based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by emailing us at hello@activout.se. Security logging is based on our legitimate interest in protecting the service. Data we are required by law to keep is processed to comply with legal obligations.

Sharing and storage location

The service runs on bunny.net (BunnyWay d.o.o., Slovenia), which provides hosting, storage and delivery and processes data on our behalf. Your LinkedIn data and account data are stored in the EU and encrypted at rest, and we do not transfer them outside the EU/EEA.

When you use a connected MCP client, the data it requests may be transferred to that client and its AI provider. Their processing is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We do not sell your personal data.

Retention and deletion

Imported data is kept until you delete it, withdraw your consent or close your account. Deletion normally takes place within 24 hours, and backups are purged within 30 days. Technical logs are kept for up to 5 days. Data subject to legal requirements is kept for as long as the law requires.

Disconnecting LinkedIn on its own stops future retrieval but does not automatically delete data already imported. Copies already transferred to an MCP client must be handled with that provider.

Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal. You can lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) or your local data protection authority.
