Terms of service for MemberData.eu
Last updated: 27 October 2026
Who we are
These terms are an agreement between you and Activout AB (corporate identity number 559071-2229, VAT ID SE559071222901), Serpentinvägen 37, 372 31 Ronneby, Sweden, which provides MemberData.eu. Contact us at hello@activout.se. By subscribing you accept these terms. How we process personal data is described in our privacy policy.
The service
MemberData.eu retrieves your own LinkedIn data with your authorisation through LinkedIn's Member Data Portability API, keeps a synchronised copy for your account and makes it available, read-only, to the AI clients you approve through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). LinkedIn offers this API only to members in the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland. Which data LinkedIn provides, and when, is decided by LinkedIn.
You connect LinkedIn before you subscribe, so you can check that the connection works for your account before you pay. MemberData.eu is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by LinkedIn.
Your account
You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email address. Keep your email account secure, as anyone with access to it can sign in. Each account holds data for one LinkedIn profile. You decide which AI clients get access, and you can revoke that access at any time in the service.
Subscription and payment
The subscription is monthly or yearly. The price and currency are shown in the service before you pay. For private persons the price includes VAT. For businesses the price excludes VAT, which is added where Swedish law requires it; businesses in other EU countries with a valid VAT number pay no VAT under the reverse charge rules.
Payments are handled by Mollie B.V. (Netherlands). The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period and is charged to the payment method you used, until you cancel. A discount code applies on the terms stated for it, for example to the first period only. If a code makes the first period free, the subscription continues at the regular price unless you cancel before the period ends.
Cancellation
You can cancel at any time in the service. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Apart from withdrawal below, paid periods are not refunded.
Right of withdrawal
You can withdraw from the subscription within 14 days of your first payment and get that payment back in full. Use Withdraw and refund in the service, or email us at hello@activout.se. Your access ends when you withdraw. This applies to businesses as well as private persons.
Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, we tell you by email. Your access continues for 14 days, during which you can pay again in the service. After that, AI client access and synchronisation stop until you pay. Your synchronised data is kept until you delete your account.
Price changes
We tell you about a price change by email at least 30 days before it applies. The new price applies from your next renewal after that, and you can cancel before then.
Your responsibilities
Your LinkedIn data includes personal data about other people, such as your connections and messages. You are responsible for using it, and what your AI clients do with it, lawfully. Data you let an AI client read is processed under that provider's terms. You may not try to access other users' data, circumvent the service's limits or security, or resell the service.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Synchronisation runs daily, and backups mean that up to a day of changes can be lost in a failure. If LinkedIn changes or withdraws its API so that we can no longer provide the service, we may end it. We then refund the unused part of any period you have paid for.
Ending the agreement
You can delete your account at any time in the service, which also cancels your subscription. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. Otherwise we may end the agreement with at least 30 days' notice, and refund the unused part of any period you have paid for.
Liability
We are not liable for indirect loss, such as lost profits or lost data in AI clients you have connected. Our total liability is limited to what you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim. These limits do not apply to loss caused by our intent or gross negligence, and do not restrict your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.
Changes to these terms
We tell you about material changes by email at least 30 days before they apply. If you do not accept them, you can cancel before they take effect.
Law and disputes
Swedish law applies, without affecting the mandatory consumer protection of the country where you live. Contact us first if you are not satisfied. Consumers in Sweden can also turn to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN). Disputes are otherwise decided by Swedish courts.
